With a hard outer face and a soft brushed fleece liner on the inside, you won’t need much more than a base layer under this jacket. The Dawn Patrol has great pockets that are simple and easy to access with a harness on. The hood is helmet compatible and Black Diamond has nailed the underarm fit giving you plenty of mobility as you reach up on steep faces. Make all of your touring partners jealous this season as you stay warm and dry all winter.

Regular - The BD Dawn Patrol shell fits closely to the skin in order to keep you streamlined and agile out on the hill. Designed to be layered under, this jacket runs true to size if you have a layer or two underneath.

This jacket is a durable, double weave soft shell jacket with four way stretch perfect for ski touring.

Soft Shell - Four-way stretch woven material with a brushed backer and DWR coating. (235 gsm, 63% Nylon, 26% Polyester, & 11% Elastane)

Insulation

The brushed interior lining of this jacket brings some warmth to the mix. This jacket is a great combination of breathability and weather protection.

Pockets

The Dawn Patrol shell has two harness compatible hand warmer pockets on the outside and two internal drop pockets that have enough room for all kinds of goodies.

Venting

There are no pit zips, but don’t worry this jacket is hella breathable.
