The Black Diamond Dawn Patrol 32 is a lightweight, mid-sized pack that will have you prepared and organized for more day trips than you can imagine. This pack really separates itself from similar packs with plenty of ski specific features to make your hike easier and more comfortable. With the ability to mount skis diagonally or in an A-frame style, as well as a standard vertical snowboard mount position, this pack offers ultimate versatility depending on the type and length of your hike. The zippered back panel allows for quick and easy access to an extra layer without having to take of your skis and snowboard. Also included is hydration capability, helmet holder, pick pockets, and a waist strap with two additional pockets for convenience. As far as day packs are concerned, the Dawn Patrol 32 has you covered on all bases and will not disappoint.

Shoulder Strap & Hip Belt - The back, shoulder straps, and hip belt on this bag provide additional padding and support for those longer hikes.

Ski/Snowboard Carry Style

Snowboard Carry - The Dawn Patrol can carry a snowboard vertically with a two strap, quick release buckle configuration.

Ski Attachment - You can pack your skis A-frame or diagonal with this pack. The sides of the pack have burly and velcro adjustable tail straps for A-frame packing.

Pockets

Avalanche Gear Pocket - The front pocket is has organization and is the perfect size for for shovel and probe.

Main Compartment - The roomy main compartment can be conveniently opened from the top, or you can zip the back wide open to access your gear more easily even with skis or snowboard strapped up. Inside the main compartment there are three zippered sub-compartments to organize small items and a first aid kit.

Additional Awesomeness

Hydration Compatible - You can easily hook up your hydration bladder and keep the tube insulated in the shoulder strap. 

 Hip Belt - The hip belt features additional pockets on either side for quick access to a phone, snacks, or sunglasses.

Ice Axe Straps - This pack has an ice axe loop on the bottom and a velcro strap on the top to secure your ice axe or trekking poles for the descent.

Helmet Carrier - This pack has a stowable helmet sling that will help store your helmet on the outside of the bag and keep snow out on the skin up.
