The battle on the hardpack is real, as any East Coaster will tell you.  Biting into ice is one of the Vantage 85 CTi’s specialties.  The nimble 85 mm waist with camber underfoot is incredibly lively and fun for skiers that love to bounce in and out of turns.  The Vantage 85 CTi is geared for the front side, but the cap construction near the tip and tail make it more fun when you just need the edges to let loose.  If you’re looking for a solid feel underfoot like the Blizzard Brahma has, but with a little more liveliness the Vantage 85 CTi is the move.  Because the ski has such a lively feel, it’s great at quicker turns.  Bit of rocker in the tip will allow you to float on top of some of the fresh snow that falls over night or as free refills during the day.

Bottom Line: The Atomic Vantage 85 CTi is an all-mountain ski for the skier that spends most of their time on the front side. 

Construction

Carbon Tank Mesh - A woven carbon mesh adds torsional strength which reduces chatter, and barely adds weight.

TI Backbone 2.0 – A narrow strip of titanium runs from tip to tail for increased stability.

Core

Power Woodcore – A blend of light weight Ash and Poplar.

Shape

All Mountain Rocker - Traditional Sandwich construction with sidewall under the foot.

Additional Awesomeness

Firewall - The sidewall is built up underneath the binding for added response and grip.   Between the the toe and heel piece of the binding there is less sidewall to keep the Vantage 85 CTi flexing smoothly.  

Binding

The Atomic Vantage 85 CTi does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, all-mountain, freeride etc.).
