The triple digit waist width might have you thinking that it’s too wide for ripping groomers, but it’s not the Carbon and very well placed metal keep these Austrian Engineered planks known as the Vantage 100 CTI gripping at really high speeds – sorry didn’t have an app on when testing it.  Like the rest of the Vantage skis, they hook up smoothly and quickly in a turn and are plenty happy to go along for the ride as the snow changes, speeds pick up, or a little air hits their bases.  They don’t have quite the same amount of horsepower as the Pro MTN 95 TI’s, but they are much more all-mountain friendly – bigger sweet spot/more forgiving, super helpful in off trail conditions.  The Vantage 100 CTI is a swiss army knife, no steak knife, no butter knife, just the knives in between.  If only it had a bottle opener for apres.

How does the Vantage 100 CTI compare to the Nordica Enforcer?

The Vantage 100 CTI is going to feel a little less squirrelly on harder snow than the Enforcer, due to there being less rocker in the tails, even though the Enforcer is Full tip to tail sidewall.  This will be less noticable to skiers that can’t really get a ski up on edge, skiers closer to the intermediate range that enjoy groomers will prefer the Vantage 100 CTI over the Enforcer.

Carbon Tank Mesh - A woven carbon mesh adds torsional strength which reduces chatter, and barely adds weight.

TI Backbone 2.0 – A narrow strip of titanium runs from tip to tail for increased stability.

Core

Power Woodcore – A blend of light weight Ash and Poplar.

Shape

All Mountain Rocker - (20/70/10)  10% more rocker in the tip of the ski than in the tail, with camber underfoot.  

Additional Awesomeness

Firewall - The sidewall is built up underneath the binding for added response and grip.   Between the the toe and heel piece of the binding there is less sidewall to keep the Vantage 100 CTi flexing smoothly.  

Binding

The Atomic Vantage 100 CTi does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, all-mountain, freeride etc.).
