Alpine Touring boots, true alpine touring boots are meant to be on your feet for a long period of time.  In order to do that they have to be comfortable, the Atomic Backland is one comfortable touring boot designed for long tours spanning days.  Flexing much like a 90 flex ski boot, which is plenty of stiffness for the type of skis you should be on.  The range of motion the Freelock 2.0 provides is insane @ 74 degrees that won’t limit that most flexible of ankles.  If you’ve had some trouble fitting into some Dynafit’s the Backland from Atomic might just do the trick – tried and tested.
