EVERYWHERE-MOUNTAIN

The narrowest model in Armada's ARV line up is this versatile 86mm waisted wood core beast.  The ARV 86 is less of a directional ski than the ARV 96 making it a little more friendly in the park or for skiers that are skiing switch whenever the mood strikes.  With a directional flex pattern and a generous rocker profile in the tip of the ski it can float over the crud and blast through the 'choppy waters' that a busy resort tends to get at the end of the day.  

The ARV 86 is a playful ski that is great for aspring experts or skiers that just like to surf on the side of the trail and need a ski that will release an edge more quickly and easily.

Construction

AR50 Sidewall - Cap in the tip and tail with sidewall underfoot.  By not having sidewall in the tip and tail the swing weight is reduced drastically and it's considerably more durable.  Sidewall where you need it you most, underfoot. 

Core

Pop-Lite Core - A lightweight core with harder woods layed up horizontally for a powerful feel without all the weight.  

Shape

AR Freestyle Rocker - A traditional sidecut underfoot with rocker in the tip and tail.  The hardwoods underfoot and combination of rocker make the ARV 86 unstoppable in any condition.

2.5 Impact Edge - An oversized special heat-treated edge that is lightweight and incredibly durable.

Carbon Kevlar Stringers - These stringers are strategically placed to give the skis the added pop you've been looking for!

Binding

The Armada ARV 86 does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (all-mountain, freeride etc.). Be sure the release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at theskimonster.com.
