3-4 EXTRA INCHES.....

The Apex jacket from Armada is a longer cut, with an addtional 3-4 inches of length -- it looks good and it gives you better protection and as a result keeps you warmer.  With the exception of the RealTree print the jacket has really clean lines and a simple look.  We really like the chest pockets on the Apex jacket, it is super easy to access and they are pretty good size.  The hood is helmet compatible and the hood will stay over the helmet even when you're skiing into the wind.

Fit

Long Fit - With an additional 3-4 inches of length depending on size, the Apex jacket provides more protection from wind and snow as well a less ski jackety look.  

Style

A 10K/10K waterproof and breathable shell.

Performance Level

Waterproof and breathable enough for the recreational skier that is looking for an entry level shell.  At 10K/10K it'll regulate temperature fairly well but you may need to adjust layers based upon how hard you're skiing or the temperature.

Insulation

There is no insulation in this soft shell.

Pockets

Two hand pockets, two chest pockets and one ski pass pocket on the left sleeve.

Venting

Pit zips are your source of ventilation and they provide pretty good airflow when you need it.
