The 2016 K2 Happy Hour Snowboard is a deck that people always walk over to the rack to check out... because it looks so sick! The pronounced point on the tip and tail looks dope, but the construction on the K2 Happy Hour is what makes it a keeper. It’s super smooth. Instead of a regular flat section between the feet, K2 raised it up to give you the pop that flat boards lack. Then they put rocker that almost reaches the end of the board. The pop and power of camber with the dopeness that is rocker in tip and tail for under 400 bucks!

Construction

Hybritech - K2 combines both sidewall and cap construction. The tip and tail are capped for easy turn initiation, and sidewall is placed under foot for edge hold and stability where you need it most!

Tweekend - A full tip-to-tail rocker technology that extends the snowboard's baseline to it's extremities, which provides you with a larger rideable surface area and a more stable platform.

Core

WH3 - A full wood core with Honeykomb! Two strips of K2’s Honeykomb technology adds strength and durability through the use of extra urethane.

K2 Baseline

Precision Lifted - K2's exclusive baseline technology that lifts the snowboard's base in-between the snow contact points. This gives the rider the pop and energy of a cambered board, as well as the float, precision and effortless turn initiation of flat rockered snowboard.

Biaxial Glass - Extra reinforcements under the Happy Hour’s laminate for power and precision

Sintered Base - A super fast, extremely porous base designed for maximum wax absorption.
