Easygoing and confidence inspiring. Great for progressing skiers who like to ski groomers.

YOU GOT THAT YUMI, YUMI.

The Volkl Yumi is an easy to ski, easy to balance on, groomer-focused option that still has that "Volkl" feel. At 84mm underfoot the Yumi is quick edge to edge and offers solid grip on groomers and icy terrain. It's a strong enough ski that will make you feel like a stronger skier but it's not demanding at low speeds or difficult to turn. If you're making the jump from rental gear or you just want a ski that is happy to cruise groomers the Volkl Yumi can do that with ease. It's not a ski you would out progress too quickly either. If you're a more adventurous skier the Yumi is forgiving enough to handle some tighter terrain or softer snow but this is really a ski that loves to cruise around and have a good time. The Yumi is a great option for progressing skiers or more intermediate skiers that just want something more easygoing.

Who is this ski for? Beginners to intermediates that want a ski that's good for groomers.

Who isn't this ski for? Aggressive skiers that want a powerful ski for groomers. Adventurous skiers that spend a ton of time off trail.
