These skis were born to be in gnarly situations that you brag to your friends about. The Volkl Shiro's will rip groomed conditions if allowed, but they really thrive off-trail. If your looking to rip back bowls, AT into the backcountry or chase powder, the Volkl Shiro's should be your ski of choice.

Construction:

Tough Box Construction - This a full vertical sidewall construction that gives the Shiro torsional stiffness and provides excellent edge hold on hard pack snow.

Core:  

Multi-Layer Woodcore - A full woodcore for durability, stability and a smooth consistent flex.

Shape:

Full Rocker - A fully rockered tip and tail for maximum float in powder and easy turning on any snow condition.

Binding:

The Volkl Shiro does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
