The Volkl Mantra is a ski that you have most definitely heard of and you probably know a guy that owns one if you don't have a pair for yourself already.  The best way to describe the Mantra is it's a wide race ski, it's built like one, it's just 98mm underfoot.  The Mantra is going on it's second year with rocker in the tip of the ski, but is still camber underfoot for unrivaled grip on hard snow.  The Mantra has gotten rave reviews for the last many years for pleasing the skier that loves to rip up the wide open groomers and steep stuff, but can be fun to ski off trail in the trees and bumps too.  The Volkl Mantra is for the skier that loves to shred and likes to break a sweat going down the hill arcing some big turns.

Construction:

Power Sidewall with Titanium - The power construction is a full sandwich sidewall from tip to tail giving the Mantra phenomenal edge hold on hardpack snow. The titanal increases the torsional rigidity of the Mantra and provides excellent power and energy out of every turn.

Core:

Full Sensor Wood - Provides the Mantra with durability and power. The full tip to tail Sensor Woodcore increases responsiveness and gives the skier optimum support throughout the turn.

Shape:

Tip Rocker - Rocker is in the tip of the ski giving the Mantra added float in soft snow and choppy conditions. The camber under binding adds energy out of the turn and makes the ski extremely stable at high speeds.

Binding:

The Volkl Mantra does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
