Volkl Kuro Skis 2013
Looking for a ski to dominate the deepest of powder days and still provide some on-trail stability, well you found what your looking for with a pair of Volkl Kuros. Designed with a full rocker shape and 132 mm underfoot, Volkl built the Kuro to have sensational performance through varying deep snow in resort back bowls or untracked powder stashes in the backcountry. The Volkl Kuro's will have you shredding harder than ever before through some of the steepest most challenging terrain on the planet. Incredible surfy feel through powder, solid vertical sidewall construction and full rocker shape make the Kuro a big mountain force to be reckoned with.
Tough Box Sidewall with Titanium - The vertical sidewall construction gives the Volkl Kuro solid edge hold on groomed snow, and the tip to tail titanium provides energy and torsional stiffness.
Multi Layer Wood - This core gives the Kuro a solid durable platform. The multi-layer wood allows the ski to be extremely responsive and energetic.
Full Rocker - The full rocker shape allows the Kuro to glide through powder and blast over crud or choppy snow. The ski is able to turn extremely quickly in tight off-trail situations making skiing through steep trees more fun than ever.
The Volkl Kuro does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
