The Volkl Kendo is a fully cambered 89mm waisted ski.  If you've been skiing on narrower shaped skis and want to make the jump to something wider the Volkl Kendo is the way to go.  With the Kendo will do everything your narrow shaped skis could and then some.  The Kendo is the ideal ski for someone that likes to spend a lot of their time on trail and occasionally up off-trail.  With its cambered design it and race ski like construction the Kendo really shines on the ice, hardpack and groomed conditions.

Construction:

Power Sidewall with Titanium - The power construction is a full sandwich sidewall from tip to tail giving the Volkl Kendo phenomenal edge hold on hardpack snow. The titanal increases the torsional rigidity of the ski and gives the Kendo a ton of power and energy.

Core:

Full Sensor Wood - Provides the ski with durability and power. The full tip to tail Sensor Woodcore increases responsiveness and gives the skier optimum support throughout the turn. This core makes the Kendo ski exceptionally well on hardpack or groomed snow.

Shape:

Tip Rocker - Rocker is in the tip of the ski giving the Kendo added float in soft snow and choppy conditions. The camber under binding adds energy out of the turn and makes the Kendo super stable on groomed snow.

Binding:

The Volkl Kendo does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
