Rossignol designs these women's specific skis to excel in off-trail / soft snow situations. The Saffron 7 has a lightweight poplar wood core, Powder Turn rocker and Rossi's revolutionary Air Tip technology. All of these design features contribute to the Saffron's excellent performance in the deep stuff. Material is removed from the ski's tip and tail, and it is replaced with an air-filled honeycomb design. This design increases floatation and reduces the ski's swing weight, making it turn quicker and more easily in every snow condition. Whether you're crushing through powder or hard-charging some spring bumps, the Rossignol Saffron 7 skis were designed to make you and your skiing look good!

Construction

Minicap Sandwich - A full sandwich construction that is designed with 30° angled sidewalls, for better edge grip and overall weight reduction.

Core

Poplar Wood Core - A lightweight full wood core helps the Saffron 7 with increased all-mountain stability and freeride durability.

Shape

Powder Turn Rocker - 50% Rocker / 50% Camber - Camber under foot provides a snappy on-trail feel, while the rockered tip and tail dominate snow soft conditions. Effortless float and super easy turn initiation makes these skis fun all over the mountain.

Additional Awesomeness

AirTip - The skis tip and tail is "Air-Filled" for increased tip control and predictability. Also helps to reduce overall weight and increased performance in powder.

VAS - This vibration reduction system helps to quiet and dampen the overall ride. It allows the skis to transition smoothly over any terrain or varying snow condition.

Binding

The Rossignol Saffron 7 women's skis do not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
