Line Sir Francis Bacon Skis 2013

Brand: Line Skis

The Line Sir Francis Bacon was the ski to have in 2011-2012, and not much has changed.  The Sir Francis Bacon comes back for 2013 with only cosmetic changes, the 108mm waisted ski still skis anything and everything with its versatile shape and rocker profile.  The Sir Francis Bacon was designed to get on top of the powder instead of just plowing through it, not only did Line get a ski that did just that, they also got a ski that can take on whatever else the mountain has to offer, tight trees, moguls, groomers and steeps, the Line Sir Francis Bacon can do it all and do it all well.

Construction:

A full P-Tex sidewall covers the edges over the entire length of the ski. This construction gives the Sir Francis Bacon a solid feel and makes even the hardest snow conditions feel smooth under your feet.

Core:

Maple Macroblock - A blend of Aspen and Maple woods for durability and stability.

Shape:

Early Rise Tip & Tail (20 cm x 10 mm) - An elevated tip and tail for effortless floatation in powder. This shape gives the Sir Francis Bacon an incredibly surfy feel when conditions are steep and deep. Early Taper Tip & Tail - The widest point of the ski is tapered early to eliminate a hooky feel in deep snow conditions.

Binding:

The Sir Francis Bacon does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
