K2 Shreditor 102 Skis 2016

K2 Shreditor 102 Skis 2016

K2 Shreditor 102 Skis 2016

SHRE·DA·TION : /shri'd?SH?n/  THE ACTION OF ATTACKING OR PLUNDERING FRESH SNOW.

Test Locations: Saas Fee CH, Sugarbush VT, Copper CO

If the K2 Shreditor 112 is a little to wide for ya, the 102 is super nimble - don't let the triple digit waist width scare you.  The Shreditor 102 carves more like a 90mm waisted ski when you pair it up with a wider platform binding like a Marker Griffon or Jester, but floats like the 102mm waisted ski it is when the snow presents it self.  Versatility, fun, speed and float is what you get.  Have fun shredding the trees and nuking the blues with these skis, the Shreditor 102's rip! If you were into the Kung Fujas, this is the replacement.

Construction

TwinTech Sidewall Construction- This twin tip specific, super durable construction helps to minimize impact damage to the edge of the ski. K2 creates less of a sidewall angle, by rolling the top sheet material into the actual sidewall. Lighter weight, less damage, increased longevity. BOOM.

Triaxial Braiding - An exclusive K2 technology that interlocks fiberglass strands around the ski's wood core, resulting in phenomenal torsional rigidity without effecting the skis flex pattern.

Core

Aspen/Paulownia - A blended wood core that provides durability and snap, as well as a smooth consistent flex

Shape

All-Terrain Rocker - 30% Rocker / 70% Camber - A rockered tip and tail provides superior floatation and gashes through soft snow. Camber underfoot maximizes on-trail power and stability.

Additional Awesomeness

Taper Tip - This tip profile helps the Shreditor blast through pow and crud. Taper tip also reduces the overall weight of the ski, making it easier to maneuver.

Swap Base - Functional - No... Fashionable - Your call. This "tech" is all about style.

Binding

The K2 Shreditor 102 does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
