The 2016 K2 Shreditor 92’s seek to prey on every square foot of hard pack, bumps and pow, in their path, and leave a trail of gashed terrain in their wake. Sound about right? Many find 92 millimeters to be the epitome of a versatile waist width. Lay these puppies over on hard pack, and ride the 18-21 meter radius to your desired cut-back speed. A Triax Braided Fiberglass Layup and ABSorb Sidewalls provide torsional stiffness and a damp feel, keeping the entire effective edge length in touch with the terrain throughout the turning arc. Taper Tip allows you to slash the spine or coolly wash out your tails along the trail edge, in addition to efficiently punching through bumps and groomer turds. All Terrain Rocker in the tip and tail keep you up on top of fresh pow, and contribute to supreme ease of turn initiation.
TwinTech Construction with Vertical ABSorb Sidewall- This twin tip specific, super durable construction helps to minimize impact damage to the edge of the ski. K2 uses a vertical ABS sidewall to protect the Shreditor’s core and dampen vibration.
Triaxial Braiding - An exclusive K2 technology that interlocks fiberglass strands around the ski's wood core, resulting in phenomenal torsional rigidity without effecting the skis flex pattern.
Tip / Tail Hardware - If you’ve found yourself on this page, then you’ve seen what hard landings can do to the tips of your skis. K2 reinforces the tips and tails of the Shreditor 92’s by driving a couple rivets through the ski. This is simple, functional, and much appreciated tech.
Aspen / Fir - This blended wood core provides durability and snap, as well as a smooth consistent flex, at low weight.
All-Terrain Tip and Tail Rocker - A rockered tip and tail provides superior floatation and gashes through soft snow. Camber underfoot maximizes on-trail power and stability.
Taper Tip - This tip profile helps the Shreditor blast through pow and crud. Taper tip also reduces the overall weight of the ski, making it easier to maneuver.
Swap Base - Functional?... No. Fashionable?...Your call.
