K2 Pettitor Skis 2013
Brand: K2
Sean Pettit finally has his own Pro Model Ski, the K2 Pettitor. The 120mm waisted Pettitor was designed from the ground up by Sean himself working with the brains that made the rest of the factory skis. The Pettitor is light and nimble so you can tackle tight tree lines and stable enough for taking the massive lines that Sean Pettit takes in the movies. The Pettitor is the stiffest ski in the factory line up so if your looking to charge and want something agile, it's right here, the K2 Pettitor.
Construction:
Twintech Sidewall with Triaxial Braided Fiberglass. Built to take on hard landings and off-trail abuse, K2 increased the durability by reducing the sidewall angle making it less prone to impact damage. Fiberglass is wrapped around the woodcore giving the Pettitor an incredible amount of energy and responsiveness, while increasing the overall torsional rigidity of the ski.
Core:
Fir/Aspen Woodcore - The combination of these gives the ski power and durability.
Shape:
Powder Rocker - Designed for deep snow this shape gives the ski a surfy feel. The rockered tip and tail provide agility and versatility, while the camber underfoot gives the ski phenomenal edge hold on groomed conditions.
Binding:
The K2 Pettitor does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
