The K2 Empress is all new to the factory team line of womens skis for 2013.  The Empress is built with jib rocker which makes learning new tricks easy and forgiving.  The Empress is great for learning spins, sliding rails, and having fun whereever the snow may take you.  You'll be impressed with the Empress.

Construction:

Cap - A softer, lightweight construction that is very durable. Triaxial Braided Fiberglass - Fiberglass is wrapped around the woodcore giving the Empress an incredible amount of energy and responsiveness, while increasing the overall torsional rigidity of the ski.

Core:

Bioflex 2 - A combination of 70% Aspen and 30% Paulownia. The Paulownia at the tip and tail makes the ski lightweight and extremely easy to turn, and the Aspen gives the ski a solid feeling underfoot.

Shape:

Jib Rocker - With the tip and tail rockered and zero camber underfoot, this shape is perfect for freestyle shredders everywhere. K2 designed this shape for predictable pop, ollies and smooth butters.

Binding:

The Empress does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
