K2 Aftershock Skis 2013

Brand: K2

The K2 Aftershock is the widest ski in the AMP line, measuring in at 86mm underfoot.  The Aftershock is an excellent choice for the skier that has their cruisers dialed in but is looking to do some exploring off-trail.  The Aftershock is built with K2's All-Terrain rocker, so it can handle the crud, tight trees and bumps and of course tear up the groomers with it's wood core and metal laminate construction.  The K2 Aftershock does it all well.

Construction:

Hybritech Sidewall - This sidewall gives the Aftershock a solid powerful feeling underfoot, while allowing the ski to initiate turns super easy. Metal Laminate - K2 layers 2 sheets of titanal with fiberglass making the ski extremely torsionally rigid.

Core:

Aspen/Paulownia Woodcore - The Aspen provides power and durability, while the Paulownia makes the ski extremely lightweight.

Shape:

All-Terrain Rocker - Designed for every snow condition, All-Terrain rocker makes the ski incredibly versatile. The rocker provides easy turning and the camber underfoot provides power, energy  and fantastic edge grip on hardpack snow.

Binding:

Marker MX 14.0 - The bindings are integrated directly into the skis. The integration allows the skier to have excellent power transfer and edge control. The MX 14.0 has a maximum release setting of 14. The bindings do not come mounted. If you have any questions on mounting, please contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
