HEAD Monster 98 Skis 2017

HEAD Monster 98 Skis 2017

WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY....

Test Locations: Deer Valley UT, Stratton VT, Stowe VT

1 word... Graphene.  Graphene is 100 times stronger than steel, is .01 thousandth of an inch and weighs a heck of a lot less than titanal that is present in most comparable skis.  Because the skis are so light, torsionally rigid and 98mm in the waist they are a sick all-mountain performer.  What really sets the HEAD Monster 98 apart is it's ability to ski very well on a wide variety of trails.  It's not great at any one particular thing, it's really good at everything.  One thing you will notice in the Monster series of skis is how much you can feel the entire edge biting into the snow -- it's pretty awesome!

HEAD Monster 98's are way more stable and versatile than the previous Monster series of skis that were available several years ago.  The Monster series is frontside focused if that resonates with you, you'll really love the skis!  If you dig doing more quick to medium sized turns check out the HEAD Monster 88, same construction narrower waist and deeper sidecut.

Construction

Head WC Sandwich Construction

World Cup Sandwich Cap Construction - Graphene is the most sophisticated material known to man and it's mixed with HEAD's race proven WC construction.

Core

Full Wood Core with Graphene - A full wood core is what expert skiers demand. Titanium alloy allows this 98 mm waisted ski to slash high edge angle turns on steep, firm terrain.

Shape

Allride Rocker - 20% rocker in the tip and camber underfoot gives skiers the confidence they require on the steepest and firmest slopes.

Rocker Camber Key

Tip Rocker Camber underfoot

Additional Awesomeness

ERA 3.0 - Is what sets HEAD skis apart. Rocker, Radius and Flex are all designed together to create a Monster ski that performs like none other.... Except for the other skis with ERA 3.0

Binding

The HEAD Monster 98 Skis do not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.

Recommended Binding: Marker Griffon.
