Bang for the bucks are great and we're happy to tell you that the Elan Explore 10 TI is one! It's 76mm waist provides intermediate to advanced skiers with a stable platform even on hardpack conditions.  Though the Explore 10 TI skis well on groomed conditions that's not all it's good at, with it's rockered tip it blasts through crud too.  It's a great ski that will make any advanced skier feel like an expert - go send it down something a little steeper this ski can handle it.  

Construction

Sidewall - ABS sidewall material under the binding keeps the ski gripping on harder snow, while the cap allows the ski to release in a turn more easily.

Fibreglass - This reinforcement ensures for optimal flex and stability.

Core

Dual Woodcore - The synthetic core is sandwiched in-between two vertical wood stringers that run the length of the ski. This gives the skis torsional rigidity, as well as a responsive energetic feel.

Shape

Parabolic Rocker - The shape brings a shorter effective edge, which alllows for easy turn initation and excellent edge control. 

Additional Awesomeness

WaveFlex - A wave-profile is built directly into the ski for an unparalleled combination of torsional strength and flex. The shape of the wave creates an incredibly consistent, easy turning flex, as well as rock solid torsional rigidity.

Binding

EL 10 Shift - Elan's Shift locking system is extremely fast and easy to use. It also gives the skier fantastic edge control and responsiveness.
