The Blizzard Brahma is going to continue to turn heads in the 2016 season. The Brahma pairs a lively on trail feel with a hook-free, all mountain shape and gradual tip-rocker profile. Low profile rocker makes the Brahmas plane on fresh snow at the moderate waist width of 88mm. This progressive width and profile offers all-terrain versatility while maintaining reliable edge grip on the hard-packed piste. A full sheet of titanal gives the tails a robust feel and great energy throughout higher edge angle turns. A rounded tail shape accommodates split-second decision making among the trees, bumps, and steeps. The Brahma’s surfy feel in fresh snow can be attributed to its FlipCore natural rocker construction. If the Bonafide didn't give you enough snap or quick enough turn initiation, then go Brahma. Get on it and you'll be telling all of your friends about it, that's what we did.
Full Sidewall - Sandwich Sidewall runs the full length of the Brahma, giving the skis increased edge hold, durability and torsional strength.
Full Wood - Blizzard's full tip-to-tail wood core is full of energy and helps to give the Brahma awesome stability on any terrain imaginable.
Sheet of Titanal - A full sheet of metal gives you unlimited power and energy, whether you're laying down railroad tracks on groomers or shredding through tight trees off-trail.
FlipCore Natural Rocker - Most rocker shapes from other manufacturers have to be bent into a ski, once it has already been pressed. Blizzard presses the ski with a flipped wood core. By doing this, you are essentially skiing on an upside down ski! This keeps the skis core fully intact, giving it unparalleled energy and integrity.
Rocker Tip & Tail with Minimal Camber Underfoot - The small amount of camber allows for a more stable ride on groomed snow, while the rockered extremities let you tip and rip through powder or unfavorable snow conditions.
The Blizzard Brahma does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
