END OF SEASON SALE, ALL 2024 GEAR ON SALE NOW
If there is anyone that understands the definition of Al Dente it is probably us, our store is located a block from Boston's famous North End known for fine Italian food. Armada built the Al Dente to Henrik's specs - for those that don't know Henrik has been the talk of the freeski world for the last 2 seasons and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. Ok enough about Henrik, you probably want to hear about the ski... Which has been renamed for 2016 as the EDollo
The EDollo is an all-mountain shred stick that is just shy of 100mm in the waist. Camber under foot with a little bit of rocker in the tip and tail give you float if you're shredding all mountain and the addition of a softer tip and tail make it easy to press and smear whereever you see fit. Because the Edollo is stiffer under foot it perfroms very well all-mountain feeling solid and stable at speed.
AR50 Sidewall - A rock solid vertical sidewall construction that helps with overall stability, as well as providing you the most durable platform for hard shredding.
Laminate Matrix - Fiberglass is layered in multiple different directions helping to dictate the skis flex pattern. It also gives the skis increased torsional strength.
Carbon Fiber Layup - Tip-to-tail carbon fiber gives the KUFO another level of energy and liveliness.
Hybrid Double Zone Core - A full tip-to-tail wood core designed with stiffer woods underfoot to increase all-mountain stability and maximize energy.
AR Nose Rocker - Tip rocker with camber underfoot. With just the right amount of rocker in the tip, the Al Dente can easily get in and out of turns and seamlessly stay on top of soft snow. The positive camber underfoot really promotes edge hold and tip drive.
S7 Base - An easy to maintain base that can handle the worst beatings. Take it in the park, trees or your favorite urban setting, these bases can handle it!
2.2 Impact Edge - A special heat-treated edge that is lightweight and incredibly durable.
Carbon Kevlar Stringers - These stringers are strategically placed to give the skis the added pop you've been looking for!
