Blizzard Skis have been getting a lot of well deserved press in recent years.  Blizzard's unique IQ binding system is a seamless and light weight design for all-mountain skis allowing skis to be quicker edge to edge and feel more responsive.  Last year Blizzard introduced Flip Core, Blizzard's take on the rocker phenomenon that received rave reviews from ski magazines and skiers alike.  The hype is real on the Free Mountain (Bull Skis) the Blizzard Cochise won ski of the year for good reason.

Full Tilt, the original 3 piece ski boot better known my some as the popular Raichle Flexon from the 1980's.  Full Tilt gave the original boot some cosmetic changes and gave the boot a new intuition liner for better performance, fit and comfort.  Some of skiings best ski in this boot like Tom Wallisch and Seth Morrison who each have their own Full Tilt Pro Models.

Gnu Snowboards have been around since the 1980's.  Mike Olson the pioneer of deep sidecuts started pressing boards in 1977.  Gnu is now made in Washington (near Canada) by Mervin Manufacturing.  Banana Tech or C2 and Magne Traction are standard on every Gnu snowboard.  Magne traction is an added bonus from other companies.

The Ski Monster is a pretty big fan of the Denver Colorado based ski manufacturer Icelantic to say the least.  Icelantic Skis are handmade in Denver in the same factory as Never Summer snowboards, if you know anything about Never Summer you know they make some of the highest quality products, the same is true for Icelantic.  Icelantic is known for so many things other than having superior durability; they ski really well, like really well.  These skis go from edge to edge in and out of turns effortlessly, float on top of the crud and pow like it's their job and grip the harder snow like a race ski.  Oh yea and the graphics are off the hook.

K2, the great american ski company based out of Seattle Washington known for their line of Supermodel womens skis (previously Luv series), their factory team skis featuring two all new models for 2013 the K2 Pettitor and SideSeth, and last but not least their men's all mountain skis.  K2 builds durable fun skis for a variety of skiers from beginners to pro athletes.

Lange Ski Boots has a cult following from there tremendous success in the race world and their narrow fitting boots.  Despite what most people think Lange doesn't run narrow anymore, they make narrow boots, some of the narrowest lasts in ski boots but Lange also makes wider fitting boots.  Lange has invested heavily in the last few years to make their ski boots fit the best and ski well All-Mountain, Big Mountain, Bumps, Powder and of course in the Race Course.  If you didn't fit in Lange before, you might now.

Lib Techs motto: Lighter, Stronger, More Pop! Pretty much sums up what every snowboarder out there is looking for in a new board.  Lib Tech has a killer roster with Travis Rice leading the pack not just on his own team but for the sport of snowboarding.  Travis Rice, that snowboarder that absolutely killed it in the 2011/2012 movie The Art of Flight isn't limited by Lib Tech's technology.  We can thank Lib Tech for helping progress the sport of snowboarding one step further.

The French company Rossignol has made some legendary skis, boots and bindings.  The Rossignol 7SK, 9S, Z9, S3, S7 and FKS bindings to name a few are some of the products Rossi has pumped out and made skiing better.  Rossi makes great alpine ski equipment and they always have and they are showing no sign of slowing down.

Salomon is one of the most innovative companies in the the ski industry.  They 'invented' All-Mountain skis with their X-Scream series.  They also listened to pro freeskiers like Mike Douglas of the Canadian Air Force and came up with the Salomon 1080 that changed freeskiing forever.  Salomon has been a leader in the sport and continues to be today with their Rocker 2 skis and Guardian Bindings.  Salomon leads they do not follow.

The answer is Swany.  Swany makes the most comfortable things you can put on your hands.  Try one on and you'll be able to tell the difference right away.  Swany gloves and mittens are comfortable and warm even in the most harsh conditions.
