The Salomon S/Pro Alpha 100 is a low-volume boot for beginner to intermediate skiers with narrow feet who want a boot that will allow them to progress. This boot is a major upgrade from rental boots and will make you feel like a stronger, more confident skier and allow you to control skis more easily. The 100 flex is great in the sense that it sends energy from the skier to the skis smoothly while also being forgiving enough for skiers who are still learning and progressing. The low-volume fit does an awesome job holding more narrow foot shapes in the boot but the liner isn't aggressive fitting; it's plush enough to keep your feet warm and maintain a high level of comfort. For skiers that are newer to the sport, lighter weight, and want a boot that will inspire confidence this is one of the best options.

The Salomon S/Pro Alpha 100 is a low-volume fit with a forgiving liner. It is true to length and width for a low-volume boot. Instep is normal but leaning towards the more generous side of the spectrum, great for skiers with higher insteps and high arches. The heel and ankle area is precise fitting but not uncomfortable. If you're looking for a boot that offers a more precise fit, a higher level of stiffness and more performance check out the S/Pro Alpha 120 or 130.
