The K2 Recon 130 Boa is an awesome boot for great skiers who have relatively average feet. With a stated flex of 130, this boot is capable of driving skis confidently and providing responsiveness for more aggressive skiers. For a 130 flex ski boot, K2s tend to be more forgiving, making this boot a great option for advanced skiers or lighter weight skiers who don't want a boot that's difficult to put on and like the feel of a more forgiving flex. The Boa fit system helps to optimize the wrap around the foot that will allow you to stay locked into the boot without deforming the boot on top of your foot. This isn't the most powerful 130 flex boot out there, and with a mid volume fit there are better options for more aggressive skiers or skiers with more narrow feet. However, if you want a more comfort oriented, higher flex, mid volume fitting boot this is an awesome option.

The K2 Recon Boa 130 is a generous fitting, mid-volume boot. Heel pocket is supple for a 130 flex boot, great for average feet or skiers who prefer a more relaxed fit. Length is true to size and toes will feel more comfortable after liner is molded to your feet. Compared to some other 130 felx boots, the Recon 130 is less precise along the sides of the feet. If necessary the shell can be baked to accommodate different foot shapes. Instep true for a mid volume fit and the Boa system helps to reduce the chance of pressure points on top of the foot.
