CASINO ROYALE.

The whole new binding collection from K2 has our test team pretty stoked and the Bond is no exception. In fact, it might be my personal favorite because it makes so much sense for my riding style. It's a freestyle-focused, medium-stiff binding that is meant to handle aggressive riding without feeling like it lacks personality if you're trying to get more playful. It provides enough high-speed stability and response for bombing groomers and laying trenches but feels like it comes alive when I find a side hit, lap the park, or dip into the trees. Compared to its stiffer brother from the collection, the K2 Program, it doesn't feel quite as burly and doesn't have as much high-speed confidence, but it feels like it has much more springy and energetic in those more technical situations, whether that's off-trail or in the park. If you want a stiffer binding and your main priority is stability and response, go Program. If you want a stiffer binding but want to maintain that freestyle energy, this is the binding for you.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

A new binding from K2 that's meant for more freestyle-minded riders that wanna absolutely rip. Stiff enough for the hardest charging but not so stiff that it feels unexciting or dead at lower speeds.
