Apres Ski at Venga Venga - Snowmass Colorado

Posted April 20, 2012 @ 11:11am | by Eric Gerrmann

Snowmass Colorado Venga VengaSnowmass Colorado has two base villages that are filled with classic resort style shopping and exceptional dining options. Both the old mall and new base area, are littered with restaurants providing outdoor seating and daily specials. One of my favorite Après ski spots is located in Snowmass’s old mall and is directly adjacent to the fanny hill gondola. It offers Mexican style food and drink served up right.

Après Ski at Venga Venga in Snowmass Colorado is a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar that delivers delicious authentic Mexican food in a slope side atmosphere. Burritos, fajitas and enchiladas all headline this classic Mexican menu. The entrée options and comfortable outdoor seating are sure to make your Apres experience a pleasurable one.

As soon as you enter Venga Venga, you are standing on a raised patio that overlooks fanny hill and Snowmass’s new base area. There is a full bar outside, as well as personal fire pits that have enough seating for your entire crew. Venga Venga has an extensive menu with all that Mexico has to offer, but also serves a smaller Après/patio menu, which is outstanding. It features seven different appetizers and seven different cocktails for $6.00 each!

Venga Venga Snowmass Colorado MenuApres Ski Venga Venga Snowmass ColoradoThe Tacos Al Pastor are incredible, and can be ordered 2 for $6, 5 for $14 or 10 for $25. These tacos consist of marinated pork with grilled pineapple, cilantro and salsa verde. They are delicious and might be the best pork tacos I’ve ever had. Also, the Guacamole is fantastic. It’s prepared tableside and tastes super fresh. If you don’t feel like filling up on tacos, grab some of Venga Venga’s chips and salsa. The salty chips and fresh veggies go perfectly with your drink of choice. Any of their handcrafted cocktails are a steal at $6.00 per drink, especially the margaritas. If tequila isn’t your thing, you can order a bucket of Coronas for $20.

If you’re looking for an Après spot in Snowmass Colorado with relaxing views of the slopes and authentic Mexican eats, be sure to check out Venga Venga. Even though your 600 miles north of the border, Venga Venga's location, atmosphere and menu are sure to give your group a taste of Mexico.
